part 14

(continuing from iku executing RHM after betraying her)

Cray… iku definitely heard this name before, she can’t really put her finger on it, but since he was the one who paid RHM for an assassination attempt, he must pay.

A couple weeks go by summers coming to a close and fall is starting, although it doesn’t matter it’s balls hot either way.

Word about the botched assassination attempt goes around fueling iku’s notoriety.

After some snooping iku finds out who this “Cray” guy is, he’s the wanna-be kingpin of the city, who is very salty that iku stole his thunder.

Cray of course denies that this was orchestrated by him, saying that it must’ve been an inside job.

On the outside iku seems cool about it, not acknowledging the death of RHM or the hit. However she started spying on Cray, his gang. Most of his crew are blackmailed into working for him, he rules under fear just like iku, but he doesn’t have the respect of his crew.

After some snooping she finds out his real name; Leon; And that he has a little brother no older than 8, goes to kindergarten.

She decides that the best way to fuck with him is psychotically, slowly but surely gang members dip out, die etc… She even starts following him, always keeping a distance but Cray has a sinking feeling that someone is watching him. Eventually iku gets bold: She breaks into his place and bugs it with a couple tiny cameras. She even goes as far as to fuck with him trough his little brother.

She walks him out of the kindergarten.

Little brother: (“Hey bro!!!!! Look at this nice lady!! She got me out before anyone else did! Do you know her?“)

Cray: (“Yeah… Yeah I know her. Can you get in the car please? I want to talk to her.“)

Little brother: (“Ookay.“)

He gets in the car.

iku: (“Cute kid. Honestly makes me consider wanting to have kids. But I’m creeped out by kids and my life is turbulent… Especially when someone puts a hit on me.”)

iku grabs Cray’s shoulder.

iku: (“I never had any siblings, so I wanna know; Do you love him? Love him with affection and have a strong urge to help him become a powerful man?“)

Cray: (“Of course I do, you fucking creep! What do you think you’re doing? This the way you wanna greet someone like me?”)

iku: (“Greet you? You’re lucky I even look at your direction. But, noo.. Don’t think of this as anything special, it’s just a friendly call; Watch yourself, cause I sure am watching you. I don’t forget things that easily, must be cause I’m a “bitch who doesn’t know her place” right?”)

iku: (“You can go to your boys and tell ‘em that your full steam ahead on huntin’ me but, they won’t do shit, either they’re dead or paid off. So go ahead and start enjoying the couple days I’m giving you, it’s hard for me to be so selfless. Go ahead, get your little brother out of here, Or I can take care of him right here.”)

iku reaches for her gun.

Cray: (“Are you out of your mind you psycho bitch?! Oh we’re not done here, get the fuck out of here.”)

iku: (laughs “Oh you’re right on, we’re not done here at all. I’ll be seeing you soon!“)

Cray starts walking towards the car as iku is chuckling, before he gets in iku says one last thing:

iku: (“Remember, I have my eye on you!” laughs.)

iku watches Cray drive off, and she starts walking back home.
