The next day.
iku wakes Adam up by touching his shoulder.
iku: (“… Morning…“)
Adam: (”… mmmh… … myeah.. Morning…”)
iku sits up.
Adam: (“mm… You know.. It’s still crazy I’m sleeping next to you..”)
iku: (“You’ll get used to it…“)
Adam: (“… It’s just… I never thought I’d ever end up being with someone like you…”)
iku: (“Stooopppp… You haven’t even seen my nice side yet.“)
Adam: (“I mean… if what others tell me, I’ve only seen your nice side.”)
iku: (“They’re not wrong, but I can still be very scary you know.“)
Adam: (“Well… I hope I won’t see much of that..”)
iku: (“Same… I know I’m scary… And I really don’t wanna scare you off.. I’m afraid of that.“)
Adam: (“Well… I don’t think you can scare me off now, showed me your love-y huggy side.. I can’t forget that… like ever.”)
iku: (“Haha.. If you say so… Come on, try to get up.“)
Adam slowly gets up, and when he realizes that the pain from his pelvis is gone, he quickly stands up.
Adam: (“See? You don’t need to worry about me, I’m fine now.”)
iku relaxes.
iku: (“Hmm, yup… Look at you being so energetic.“)
Adam: (“You thought I was going to be bedridden forever?”)
iku: (“Doon’t act like you weren’t holding back tears yesterday.“)
Adam: (“Yeah, true… But I’m fine now!”)
iku: (“… Yeah about that. I’m not letting you carry shit today. We’re gonna go down to your room, get all of your stuff and move you in here.“)
Adam: (“Woah.”)
iku: (“What?“)
Adam: (“.. I’m already moving in??”)
iku: (“Yup! Why? You don’t wanna?“)
Adam: (“It’s not that, I just wasn’t expecting this to go so fast.”)
iku: (“Babe… I fucked you right after you agreed to be mine.“)
Adam: (“You’ve got a point.“)
They dress up and go down to his room. iku packs up a couple things; console, laptop, phone, chargers, and iku takes the elevator to her room and puts it down in a corner.
After they’re done with that Adam tell iku that he’s hungry, and iku asks if he’d be down to go to a restaurant. He agrees.
So they get into her car, Adam likes the car a lot and they talk about the car until they arrive at the restaurant.
In the restaurant they order their food, iku goes for some grilled cheese with fries and tartar sauce, Adam goes for a pepperoni pizza. As they wait for their food Adam goes onto socials on his phone, iku is just staring at him.
Adam: (“… What?”)
iku: (“Hmm?“)
Adam: (“Uh.. You’re staring..”)
iku: (“Oh… I don’t know… You just… look really cute… I can’t really focus on anything else…“)
Adam: (“Aww, Thank you!”)
iku: (“.. I hope I’m not creeping you out… People usually don’t like when I’m staring at them..”)
iku’s face gets a little red.
Adam: (“No, no, you’re fine! … Honestly I haven’t felt wanted for a while now. I honestly just really happy you’re so into me.“)
Adam puts his hand on hers.
iku: (“… Oughhh Adam… You’re gonna make me turn into a love bug…“)
After some time, their food arrives. They eat and crack some jokes. After they’re done eating, iku asks if he wants go on a little walk with him. Adam says yes.
She takes him on a walk along side the dam, looking down there’s a view of her hotel and the beach, it’s really nice. iku has reached for his hand when they started walking, and they’ve been holding it ever since.
She stops and goes to the concreate handrail and she leans on it, Adam follows and leans next to her. They both look at the view.
Adam: (“Uh… Hey, iku?”)
iku: (“Yeah?“)
Adam: (“I know it’s early to ask this, but… What made you.. You know.. Like me?”)
iku: (“I don’t get it.“)
Adam: (“Like, You’re usually are a cold person. Capable of prospering alone, you don’t need someone like me. Like; You’re really successful, I can’t compete with you on that. I don’t know what I could bring in a relationship to you.”)
iku: “sighs” (“Adammm… Don’t say stuff like that… You’re being mean to yourself.”)
iku: (“And I always liked you, you know? It’s just in the past month or so my feelings got the better of me and I started being more proactive… And my preferences in men are different than most girls; I don’t need you to be successful, strong, or smart. I just need to vibe with you, and as you said, I’m rich, strong - capable. I’m not looking for another me in a relationship. I want someone I can love wholeheartedly. Not saying I won’t drag you into some of my jobs, just comes with being around me…”)
iku: (“But really Adam, Don’t stress about it. I barely know what I want most of the time. I don’t know what to tell you besides that the vibes are good with you.”)
iku leans towards him, and opens her arms.
iku: (“Just c’mere.“)
They hug for a long time, iku is holding his head, playing with his hair.
iku: (“Don’t stress about it please. I want you to have a nice time whenever where around each other.“)
Adam: (“Okay, okay. I was just curious.”)
iku: (“It’s okay.”)
iku gives a big smooch on his cheek.
She lets go of him.
iku: (“Come, let’s get back to the car. I wanna go shopping a little bit.“)
As they make their way back, Liam bumps into them. He sees how they’re holding hands and iku confirms to him what’s going on, Adam does ask him to keep it down-low from Brian though.
They arrive at the mall.
iku: (“I’ve gotta get some groceries but before we go do that, do you want anything?“)
Adam: (“Uh, I don’t think so?”)
iku: (“Any electronics? Something nice?“)
Adam: (“Oh, you mean stuff like that. … Are you sure?”)
iku: (“Just name the thing you want, I’ll buy it for you. No matter how expensive, I wanna pamper you a little.“)
Adam: (“Well… I do want a new laptop..”)
iku: (“Well then, let’s go get you one!“)
They get to the IT store, Adam looks at a sleek looking gaming laptop (ergo it doesn’t look too bulky and it’s not drowning in RGB).
Adam: (“Ahh, I could really use the extra vram in the model one above this one, but I don’t wanna drag you.”)
iku walks over a couple laptops, all the same manufacturer, looks at the spec sheet - it’s the highest end one, super nice oled screen, shitload of fast error correcting ram, blazing fast cpu, and a beefy gpu with 2tb of storage. It costs $3500.
iku: (“Oh this one is goated.“)
Adam: (“Yeah but that’s like super expensive.”)
iku: (“I mean… My desktop pc is better than this… But I don’t have a laptop…“)
She calls over a worker, and asks for 2 laptops.
Adam: (“Wait? Are you serious? I don’t wanna drag you down. I’m fine with the other model.”)
iku: (“It’s fine, chill out.“)
They go to the cashier, they ask if she’s interested in financing them, she says “Nope, paying with card.”. Both the cashier and Adam are shocked. Eventually they get the laptops in big boxes.
They take the escalator down.
Adam: (“I, uh. Wow. I have no idea how to thank you. This is like.. Way beyond just pampering.. I don’t know how I could ever repay this.”)
iku: (“Adam.. Chill out. I’m rich.. Just one thing.“)
Adam: (“Uh, yeah?”)
iku: (“Keep your balls full for me tonight.“)
Adam: (“What?”)
iku snickers.
iku: (“Ah I’m just fucking with you. Seriously, you don’t need to repay me for this. It’s for you, you dummy.“)
Adam: (“Oh… Well… Still.. Thank you so so much!“)
They go to the car and iku puts the boxes in the trunk.
iku: (“Can you wait in the car while I go get groceries? I don’t wanna leave the car alone with the laptops in it.“)
Adam: (“Oh right. Sure.”)
iku: (“I promise I won’t take long…”)
iku leaves to buy groceries.
