NOTICE: there’s some continuity error, there is a small time gang who iku transports drug for, this has been going on since after the train job. iku is enjoying working with them but she did warn them that if they try to fuck her over she’d kill them. (again super sorry, completely went out of my mind.)
A week or so passed, Adam is quickly adjusting to being around and with iku. Anna knows about iku’s deal with the gang, but she doesn’t interfere as it’s not her business.
iku leaves Adam alone as she’s on business with that gang.
Anna isn’t doing much, just spying on iku.
iku arrives in the warehouse where that gang is, she has a paper bag filled with a bunch of smaller bags filled with drugs. She plops the bag down on a table.
iku: (“AYO!!… I’m here!“)
There’s silence.
iku: (“If yall are not coming out, I’m taking the bag with me!“)
There’s some shuffling, iku stays silent. She readies herself, putting her hand in her gun, pulling it out.
BANG - !
A gunshot goes by her, panicked she looks back, it’s the gang. The message is clear, the five of them think they can take her down and claim the glory for killing her.
iku: (“MOTHERFUCKERS!“)
They start running towards her, she quickly finds some cover. And kills one of them by shooting them in the chest a couple times.
iku: (“IS THAT HOW IT IS? YOU FUCKS! WAS WORKING WITH ME NOT GOOD ENOUGH? I TOLD YOU ALL I’D FINISH EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!“)
Distant Ganger: (“JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP, BITCH! YOUR TIME IS OVER! TIME FOR SOME FRESH BLOOD!”)
iku: (“FRESH BLOOD MY ASS! YALL WOULD BE FUCKING LOST WITHOUT ME!”)
iku runs over to the panel controlling the lights in the warehouse, she pours some liquid on it making it short out.
Anna watching this, packs her stuff and goes over to iku’s hotel, going to visit Adam.
The lights in the warehouse start flashing erratically, like a strobe light. It’s very hard to see. Both her and the gangers are having a hard time, her sunglasses does help a little with seeing. She manages to pick off one more person.
She finds a little wooden board with a strap, she pulls it on her left hand somewhat like a shield. She charges the three remaining gangers, not killing - but knocking them out. She ties them up and throws them in her car.
Meanwhile Anna is at iku’s place, talking with Adam.
Anna: (“Listen, I don’t really wanna shit on your parade, but you do know what kind of a girl iku is right?“)
Adam: (“You mean her work?“)
Anna: (“Yeah. Her “work”, it’s actually affecting her behavior alot… How’s she acting recently?“)
Adam: (“..Uhh, she’s been fine? What do you mean by that.“)
Anna: (“She didn’t go a little silent sometimes, seeming as she’s like a blank page?“)
Adam: (“No? No. She’s been very cute.“)
Anna: (“Yeah well she’s madly in love with you.“)
Adam: (“Yeah, but I still don’t get what you’re on about.“)
Anna: (“Well, it’s just sometimes she’s a lot more… aggressive… more.. explosive..“)
Adam: (“I.. uh.. heard the stories… just you know, never saw them.“)
Anna: (“Well, I wanna help you or something, just… I don’t want you to be scared, that’ll make just things worse and she’ll end up blaming herself for scaring you off.“)
Adam: (“I mean, I don’t know how much she could scare me.“)
Anna: (“Oh believe me she ca—”)
Anna’s phone rings.
Anna: (“Speak of the devil.“)
She picks up and puts it on speaker.
iku: “deep heavy breathing, angry voice” (“Bring me a gas can. You know where I am.“)
Anna: (“Big one?”)
iku: (“… Big one.”)
iku hangs up.
Anna: (“Well, maybe seeing her in this state is the best thing you can do to prepare for her being like this. Get up, we’re going, now.“)
They get their stuff and get in her car. They pull up to a gas station, she opens her trunk and pulls out a can and starts filling it.
Anna: (“Be a dear and go in and pay, there’s some cash in the glovebox.“)
Adam: (“Uh sure!“)
Meanwhile, iku is at the border of the city and the badlands.
She picks and throws the three gangers in the sand, she kicks one of them in the side. He screams.
iku: (“Wakey-wakey bitches!“)
Ganger 2: (“Why… why the fuck are we here?”)
iku: (“So I can bury you all after I’m done.“)
Ganger 3: (“Is this how you get off you bitch? Punching down on small timers? Do you love that?”)
iku: (“Punching down? Really?… Is that what you three think?… IS IT?”)
iku: “screaming” (“YOU WORTHLESS PIECES OF SHIT! I HELPED YOU OUT, ALL OF YOU, OUT OF MY GOOD FUCKING WILL!! I LOVE DRIVING AROUND! WHY WOULD I EVER CONSIDER EVEN BOTHERING WITH FUCKING WANNA-BE LEECHES? HUH?! DO YOU HONESTLY THINK YOU’RE WORTH THAT MUCH? THAT YOU’RE LIVES MATTER TO ME?!“)
Anna and Adam get near where iku is after 10 or so minutes. By the time they get there iku is circling them and screaming at them in hungarian. Anna and Adam get out of her car, Anna goes to the trunk and gets the gas can out, Adam is just leaning on the car watching what iku’s doing.
iku in the mean time has started beating them and even cut their bends up to make them suffer as much as possible.
iku: “hungarian” (“SEE, I TOLD YOU! I FUCKING TOLD YOU! YOU WANTED TO SEE ME BE ANGRY? OH YOU’RE GONNA FUCKING GET IT.”)
iku notices Anna with the gas can, she bee-lines for her, ignoring Adam in the process. She goes back to the bodies and starts dousing them in gasoline and pours a little ignition line at the end, she kneels down and lights it (she has a zippo-like lighter).
The three gangers scream in agony as the burn to death, Adam, Anna and iku all watch the life being snuffed out slowly from them. It reeks. She’s covered in blood, from the gunfight to cutting their bends up. As they burn she walks up to Adam, he’s terrified. She gets in his face, her hands are trembling. She starts making out with him and locking hands, after a while her hands stop trembling, as if kissing calmed her down.
After she’s done, she smears blood all over his neck and face.
Anna puts out the bodies in the meanwhile and started throwing some sand over them with a shovel.
Anna: (“I’m going home, call me if you need me.”)
iku and Adam wave at her.
iku sits down in her car, and Adam gets in. They go home and during the ride she doesn’t say a single thing. As they get home iku immediately starts undressing and throwing her clothes on the clean towel.
Adam: (“Oh so that’s what it’s there for.”)
iku: (“Start undressing… You’re coming to take a shower with me.. You’ve got blood on you.“)
Adam: (“But you smeared that on me.”)
iku: (“And? Are you dirty or not?“)
Adam: (“I mean.. I am.”)
iku: (“Then shut up and get in.“)
As they’re taking a shower, iku clean him off, keeping eye contact with him. Although she doesn’t talk to him at all.
// After that he cleans her off too, and she does a little more to him, in silence.
After that she turns around and cleans themselves off. She looks at Adam’s face but quickly looks away with a sad expression on her face.
They get out, dress up and Adam plops down on the couch. Eventually iku sits down next to him, but she doesn’t move to hug him. She doesn’t even look at him.
iku: (“… You know… I’m sorry… for what I’ve done to you…“)
Adam: (“For what? Smearing some blood on me?”)
iku: (“For everything… For smearing blood on you… For forcing you to take a shower with me… For what I did to you in there… I took advantage of you. I shouldn’t do that, not to someone whom I love and care for.. You don’t deserve this from me.“)
Adam: (“Nonononono it’s fine! I get it, you were stressed, you’re hands were trembling when you kissed me. I get it, it’s fine… I even liked what you did to me back in there..”)
iku looks at Adam with a mix of emotions.
iku: (“Still.. I’ve managed to do things to you I’m not really proud of in a week of dating you..“)
Adam: (“Aw come on, it’s fine.“)
Adam moves in to hug her, iku is taken a back from this, but eventually hugs him tight too.
The rest of the night warms up, but Adam is starting to wonder why iku is the person she is today.
